Cheslie Kryst was crowned Miss USA in 2019. She was one of 5 of Black Women who held a Major Crown. A young lawyer ready to make an impact and change used her platform to help prisoners who may have been sentenced unjustly get reduced punishments, free of charge. She had a beautiful smile was loved by many and will be missed.
I can’t imagine what she was going through but I know losing yet another Sister to suicide is happening more often.
Sis, if you’re reading this, I want you to know how blessed you are. If you’re in a bit of a struggle trying to find your way, asking yourself is it worth it, IT IS… If you’re telling yourself you’re alone, You’re not, there’s someone out there who loves you.
