Adversity is something we all face. Coming back stronger than you were before isn’t always the case. For Chandra Gore, a diagnosis, a loss and heartbreak didn’t leave her in pieces. She found new purpose and strength and now thrives as the Owner of Chandra Gore Consulting, a media and relations company.

What do you see when you look in the mirror?

A survivor, fighter, queen

What do you do for a living?

I am a business consultant, publicist, producer, published author and festival founder.

How do you think self-love plays a role in success?

Having self-love plays a huge part in success. It will boost your confidence and keep you motivated.

How do you think we, as women, can work together to lift each other?

If we, as women removed all forms of jealousy and saw each other as sisters instead of competition we would work together better and become a more cohesive community. 

Have you had any adversities that you’ve had to overcome in order to achieve success?

I have had to overcome dealing with loss of a marriage, being diagnosed with my mental health issues and having to start over after failure. 

What has been your greatest accomplishment to date?

Producing my amazon taping and Launching my comedy and film festival. 

What inspires you to keep growing?

Creating a legacy for myself, my children and the love of my life.
