Tiffany Huff-Strothers is the founder of When She Thrives, a community based organization purposed to equip single mothers to move their families from poverty prosperity. She is also the Founder of the Tiffany Huff Experience, a personal development company providing discipleship and leadership development to help women of faith overcome life’s setbacks then share their stories to make an impact. A woman after our own hearts! In honor of #SelfLove, we’re chatting with an inspirational gal about her mission to empower + inspire.
What do you see when you look in the mirror?
When I look in the mirror, if I am honest, I first see my flaws. When I get past them, though, I see the passion and love I have for my family, community and the work I do with and for women each and everyday. I see the woman God created me to be, and the strength to overcome that He’s given me day, after day. Sometimes, I see the fear of what I have to face and conquer throughout the day, or even in the next moment and yet I also see the face and commitment I have to move past the fear to get it done.
Do you have any business ventures?
I do. I am the Founder and CEO of When She Thrives, a community based organization purposed to equip single mothers to move their families from poverty prosperity.
Additionally I am founder of The Tiffany Huff Experience a personal development company providing discipleship and leadership development to help women of faith overcome life’s setbacks then share their stories to make an impact.
Our programming, services and events equip women to grow their faith, develop as leaders and become change agents in their homes + communities.
Any big projects coming in the future?
This fall, Octoberm 4-5, 2019 I am hosting She Thrives Experience in Pittsburgh, Pa. The She Thrives Experience is an unprecedented opportunity for bold and courageous women of faith, who are called to make an impact born out of one of their life’s worst setbacks.
She Thrives is a sacred space for women to challenge themselves and one another as they gain clarity, build courage and commit to making lasting change – moving past the shame, unforgiveness and isolation – to serve + lead as God intended you to.
The woman who attends The She Thrive Experience will leave with her personal Bounce Back Blueprint, and a tribe of women who she’ll continue to grow through the journey with.
What do you most love about what you do?
More than anything I love the opportunity to connect with and get to know so many dynamic women and see them transform their lives and the lives of others.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I believe now is what’s next. The work I am doing now, the seeds I am planting will be the foundation for the harvest to come so in 10 years I see myself doing much of the same work with increased impact and expanded reach, perhaps internationally.
Do you have any tips for women in business?
Be an advocate for authenticity, don’t feel the need to do what everyone else is doing. We are not chameleons, we were created to stand out!
How do you hope to empower women in business or with an imprint you’d like to leave?
I create spaces and opportunities for women to “get naked” to gain the clarity and build the courage to BE. Once you are comfortable with your truth, the good, the bad and everything in between you become unstoppable and you are able to change your life and the lives of those around you!
