As we’re well into the new year, it’s no shock that the digital space will continue to dominate marketing trends. After all, digital marketing is one of the most targeted and influential ways to reach your audience. Get the most out of your time and money with these top five strategies.

Influencer Marketing

It’s human nature to emulate those we look up to – and this can extend to almost any facet of life, from fashion to food and everything in between. So, it’s no wonder influencer marketing tops the list of 2023 marketing trends. When your brand uses influencers to showcase your products or services, followers of those influencers will more aptly adopt your brand, too. 

Some small businesses shy away from influencer marketing because they think it’s a costly practice outfitted for major brands that partner with celebrities. But that’s a big misconception; every circle has an influencer. Find the right fit for your brand. For example, if your target audience is college-aged students, seek out a student with a strong social media following. It’s a surefire way to reach your audience on your budget.

Top social media sites like Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn, offer a simple platform to upload testimonials, live streams, entertainment shorts, product demonstrations, etc. – and you can skip the video production costs. Use your smartphone (and a quick video editing app if needed) to produce content with personality and user appeal. Remember to multipurpose the videos on your website and in newsletters, too.
