ANT Therapy – Master Your Automatic Negative Thoughts

Negative thinking is a normal part of life. From time to time, we all have automatic negative thoughts, or ANTs. ANTs are those thoughts that pop into our heads without us even realizing it. They’re usually about things we worry about or are stressed about, either consciously or on a subconscious level. They throw us off kilter and invade our thoughts in an instant, affecting our mood, outlook on life, and even our productivity.

ANTs can be harmful because they can lead to negative emotions like anxiety and depression. They can also make it harder for us to cope with difficult situations. Like any behavior, if we don’t learn to recognize and combat these pesky negative thoughts, they can infest our thinking and become ingrained in our brains as our ‘normal’ life view. Thought patterns are habits, and if we cultivate the habit of negative thinking, this will inevitably erode away at our quality of life. If we were constantly told as children that we were worthless or stupid, we might start to believe it. The same is true for our own thoughts. If we’re constantly thinking negative thoughts, it can be hard to see the positive side of things.

Fortunately, there are things you can do to stop the ANTs. You can’t completely get rid of them, but you can train your brain to think more positive thoughts. With a little effort, you can start to see the world in a more positive light.

ANT therapy is a treatment for negative thinking that was developed by Dr. Daniel G. Amen. It’s based on the idea that we can change the way we think by changing the way we see things. It may sound simple, but it does take work. With the guidance and support of trained experts, it can be a powerful tool in improving your thoughts and your life!

What are the principles of ANT Therapy?

There are four main principles of ANT therapy:

1. We all have ANTs. You are not alone!

2. ANTs are automatic and outside of our control.

3. ANTs can be harmful.

4. We can change the way we think by changing the way we see things.

These four principles form the foundation of ANT therapy.

ANT therapy is beneficial because it can help you to change the way you think. If you’re struggling with negative thoughts, this treatment can help you to see things in a more positive light. ANT therapy has been shown to be effective in treating a variety of conditions, including anxiety, depression, and ADHD. If you’re struggling with negative thoughts, ANT therapy may be the tool it takes to elevate your thinking and change the way you see, and operate in the world.

The first step in ANT therapy is to identify the ANTs. Once you know what your ANTs are, you can start to work on changing them. In our FREE ANT Therapy Webinar, Gloria Ward and Ellie Curry will do a deep dive on how we can turn our negative thoughts into positives! You do not want to miss this!
